NOTE: 7mm, 7.5mm, 8mm, and 8.5mm have the details on the face like the original Ford units. The 9mm and 10mm have a smooth face.
The only known spark plug wire separators designed to replace the original 7mm wires, A BAD Innovations exclusive. The Ford factory original valve cover mounted spark plug wire separators were made for 7mm wires as are all reproductions on the market. While you can sometimes squeeze the newer 8mm wires onto the 7mm separators ours are designed for either 7mm, 7.5mm, 8mm, 8.5mm, 9mm, or 10mm wires and fit like they should. Separators are made from Fiberglass infused Nylon and printed on a 3D printer. The clip on separators fit directly on both OEM Ford and aftermarket valve cover tabs. Original and reproduction components are made from Nylon 6 whereas ours are made from Fiberglass Infused Nylon 12. The advantages are in using this type of material is that it is stronger, stiffer, and has a higher melting point (heat tolerance) than the original. Also, since our products are printed from the same file, there are no molds to wear out and change tolerances over time.
